Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and iStrangerChat ("we", "us") for using istrangerchat.com (the "Service"). By ticking the box on the start page and using the Service you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use iStrangerChat

You must be 18 years or older. The Service is for adults only and some rooms contain mature conversation.
You must be legally allowed to use a service like this where you live.
If we believe a user is under 18 we will remove them immediately.

2. What the Service is

iStrangerChat is a live chat site where you talk with strangers in public rooms and private messages, without creating an account. We do not check or verify other users. You chat with them at your own risk: never share passwords, bank details, your address or other private information, and be careful about meeting anyone in person.

3. Your name and profile

You choose a display name, age, gender and marital status when you join. Your name, age and marital status cannot be changed during a session. You must not impersonate another person, a public figure, or iStrangerChat staff.

4. Rules: what you must not do

Post, request or share any sexual content involving minors. Zero tolerance: we remove the user, keep the evidence and report it to law enforcement.
Share sexual or intimate images of anyone without their consent.
Harass, threaten, bully, stalk or blackmail other users, or promote hatred or violence against any group.
Post illegal content, or promote illegal drugs, weapons, gambling or terrorism.
Offer or ask for paid sexual services, or run scams, phishing or fraud.
Share another person's private information (doxxing).
Spam, flood rooms, advertise, or use bots, scripts or automated accounts.
Try to get around a removal or block, attack the Service, or access it in ways we did not intend.

5. Moderation

To keep the Service safe we use automatic limits (for example on message speed) and human moderators. We may warn you, temporarily mute you, remove you from the chat, or block your connection or device, for any period and without giving a reason or notice, if we believe you broke these terms or the law. We do not have to host any content and may delete messages or images at any time.

6. Your content

You are responsible for everything you post, including messages, photos and voice notes, and you confirm you have the right to share it. You allow us to store, display and process it to run, moderate and protect the Service. Everyone in a public room can see the messages posted there.

7. Reporting

Use the Block button to stop someone contacting you. To report illegal content or a user, email [email protected] with the room, the time and the username. We aim to act on reports of illegal content as quickly as possible.

8. Advertising

The Service is free and supported by advertising. Some steps (for example starting a chat or picking a room) may open an advertiser's website. We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices.

9. No guarantees

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise it will always be online, error-free or secure, and we do not check or endorse what users say. Chat history may be lost.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for the conduct of other users, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes and ending

We may change these terms. When we do, we update the date above and ask you to accept them again before you next chat. You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end the Service, or your access to it, at any time.

12. Law and grievances

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and Indian courts will handle any dispute. For complaints, contact our Grievance Officer at [email protected]. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to resolve them within 15 days.
